It’s that time again … a year is coming to an end and there can be many emotions around what has been achieved (or what has NOT been achieved!) and many of us begin to set intentions or resolutions for the new year ahead.
But… how can we do this positively? Here are just 2 simple steps to make a constructive start 🙏🏻✨

Number one is to practice gratitude for all that the current year has provided.
Good and bad.
Even the most challenging of times and difficulties that you experienced have contributed to your exact position now, and there is so much value and learning gained from making mistakes and having new experiences!
It is literally one of the ways in which children learn.
Gratitude for the past year will encourage a positive start for the new year.
So, before going too deep into what you would like to achieve in 2024, can you make peace, and even better, feel deep and genuine gratitude for 2023? This will provide the best start for 2024 intention setting and give the best chance for success!

Number 2 is to carefully consider any goals that you set. Andrew Carnegie says it best, so here is a direct quote:
“If you want to be happy, set a goal that commands your thoughts, liberates your energy and inspires your hopes”
